dmxratedJust beat the Elite Four in Pokemon SoulSilver last night.
My team consisted of Croconaw, Pikachu, Ponyta, Skarmory, Jirachi, and Lugia. Croconaw had evolved into Feraligatr after I took out Bruno, making this the first time I have ever completed a level-based three-phase evolution cycle, let alone one with a starter Pokemon. Pikachu had learned Thunder as I beat Karen, so I gave it my remaining Thunderstone and let it become Raichu.
Koga had been relatively easy to take out, but almost everyone else took multiple attempts to claim victory over. Let me tell you, I was up til around 11:30 last night until I finally defeated Lance. In the process, I had used up all my Ethers (which I tend to stockpile for these battles anyway), my remaining Max Revive, and all but one of my regular revives (along with some MooMoo Milks, two or three Max Potions, and a few Full Restores).
But anyway, today, I should be back home in New Bark Town, and since it's Tuesday, Tuscanny should be just west on Route 29 to give me a ribbon. From there, I'm gonna make one lap throughout Johto to collect apricorns, and along the way, battle Hiker Parry on Route 45 (since he called me up for a rematch right before I entered Victory Road). Then, I'm gonna head over to the PokeAthlon and see what making ApriJuice is all about. Actual participation in the PokeAthlon will begin tomorrow, and will go on for seven days, before I head out to Kanto.
