dmxratedMom brought me over to Dr. Mattimoe's office yesterday, so that he could see my rash and prescribe some stuff to treat it with. Not much to say there.
After my appointment, she dropped me off at Barnes & Noble while she went to the nail salon. At first, I just paced around outside the building, but after a while, I went inside and started over with Yotsuba&, reading three chapters this time.

Marie had her birthday party yesterday, with a bunch of her friends over. Someone was cooking burgers and hot dogs on the barbecue, but I declined because I already had a burger for lunch. However, I did join them in roasting marshmallows.

Some stuff that came to mind yesterday about MCC, but I've decided that Mondo and Rockna would have been visited and blessed by the gods when they were born. Matching their canonical affinities, Mondo would have been visited by Ceng and Ivedi (Fire and Wind, both male), while Rockna had her contact with Sedra and Bhenq (Water and Earth, both female). Gasejo, the goddess of Light, had remained in Mon World to maintain the gates, and Warp could not have visited either of them (for obvious reasons).
Well, yeah, I kinda need some way to explain the bandages and supposed gem on Mondo's forehead, the Knights' superhuman traits, their hair colors and hair styles, Rockna's prematurely developed chest, and how her sixth sense was awakened just by her being informed of it (while Mondo's--and most other people's, for that matter--will remain forever dormant). Especially when part of the prophecy of the Saint Star Dragon involves their names.
There's also McKnight, who had his first visit by one of the gods when he was the Knights' age. He is the one who will run the cult in New York, select ten more children as the Supporting Knights, and grant them the same blessing that the gods had given him (minus his sixth sense). One of said children would be his own daughter, Kasumi, who will also have one of the most prominent roles in the events of the ficseries. The fact that these blessings are bestowed upon them well after their birth is exactly why they all look much more normal for Man World standards than Mondo and Rockna.
And finally, the blessings in question will grant them all an immunity to the effects of the Dimension Reaper at the end of the ficseries. I told Chelle about this last night, but anyone who isn't a Knight, a god, or McKnight himself will become a shoggoth if they remain too long under the D-Reaper's influence. This would happen much more quickly if they were within a given distance from Pfizgiy when she's in her ultimate form. I want there to be an epic battle at some point in the ficseries, which the Knights would get all to themselves (for the most part), and which would require them all to become giants, so what better way than to have such conditions that would forbid almost anyone else to participate. (Aside from permanently connecting the three worlds, not sure what else would be necessary for the gods to step in and finish Pfizgiy off.)

Uh, no it didn't. Every summoner has a psychic link with the monster they call, it's just that she was given a way to have a link without contract. I'm pretty sure I explained before how you can see her sixth sense gradually awakening over the course of the series, the more she used that power.

Simple answer : artist appeal. Don't try to explain that, since then you'd also have to take into account that her diameter randomly expands/shrinks depending on which artist is drawing the scene. It's a sign of low budget that their artists have no internal consistency, it's not supposed to be an in-universe feature.

Where did you get that? The yondai angels did know Mondo and Rokuna's purpose as they pretty much spell out what they must do, but what I mean with the names is that in kanji, they're written with the same symbols as "six gate" is, as in to say Mondo and Rokuna have some blatantly obvious connection to the prophecy. Lacking prophecy, a lot of their odd traits would be bizarrely random.
About the last part, you'll need an explanation of why the gods don't give their blessing to more than those few people.
