Our computer has had a virus since yesterday, most likely from me downloading Armored Troopers J-Pheonix PF Lips Team. Mom had texted Brian about it throughout yesterday, and they agreed that she will drop it off at his dorm when she and Dad go on their anniversary next weekend.
Right now, the keyboard isn't working on our main PC, although I am able to check my email and browse stuff saved in our Favorites tabs. For typing, I'm stuck using my piece-of-crap laptop, which is at least somewhat functional and okay for browsing text-based websites. With YouTube, though, it just sucks. My first attempt to watch something there, the clip didn't play at all. For subsequent attempts, the sound quality was smooth enough, but the video is just choppy. (I also once tried using the laptop to read a doujin that Jake was trying to show me, and the pages took forever to load.)
Even though Mom told me not to download anything on our computer, I still have yet to download PSXfin (a Playstation emulator) to play Makeruna! Makendou 2. If I was still going to school somewhere, I would have used one of the school computers to download Armored Troopers J-Pheonix PF Lips Team, but maybe I can ask Mom to drive me to Dowling briefly to download what I need.

That car took a lot more than a simple wash and vacuuming to clean up. There was all kinds of stuff that needed to be scrubbed or scraped off, and I also had to get in between a number of cracks with a scrubbrush to get even more stuff out.

Been spending a number of days challenging the Battle Frontier in Pokemon SoulSilver. Just two nights ago, I was finally able to battle one of the Frontier Brains, Dahlia. Taking out her Dusknoir was easy enough with my Snorlax, which was able to keep using Earthquake while it ineffectively kept using Shadow Punch on me. Next in line, though, was Medicham. I at first assumed it was going to use a Fighting move, so I switched to my own Dusknoir, only to have it take damage from Zen Headbutt. Put Snorlax back up front after Dusknoir succumbed, and it kept using Zen Headbutt. It fainted because I didn't have it use Rest early enough before it actually did use a Fighting move, and Magnezone (yes, the one that Melissa traded to me at Starbucks) didn't stand any chance at all.
So far, though, the three Pokemon I've been using for this Battle Frontier have proved somewhat more reliable than the ones I've used in Emerald. Even at level 46 (and I did level it up a few times yesterday), Dusknoir could still kick ass with a complete set of Fire Punch, Shadow Ball, Psychic, and Blizzard.
For now, though, I just want to build up enough Battle Points to buy a certain TM and teach one Pokemon of mine a certain tutored move for which my dice and random.org landed a double-5 and a 25 (picking from 1 through 25) respectively. Once I'm done with that, I'll consider that time to put the game down and move onto other things. (No. I'm not even gonna start over with Diamond just then. I just want to get this over with and be done with it.)

Date: 2019-07-14 07:55 pm (UTC)Actually, no, I still don't get half of it. You were trying to make some sort of argument in favor of free will, but the second and last paragraph don't really tie together and are either saying the same thing or are part of a larger, unfinished argument. You mention a point being defeated, but never define what that point is.

Date: 2019-07-14 07:55 pm (UTC)What happens in the bad future (after the events in the first fic) are pretty complicated, but like with the events in the anime, they all tie in together in a seemingly contrived way (in this case, so time can be altered to allow the Knights to take on Mech World and battle Pfizgiy while they're still alive in their first life).
Of course, you already explained that nothing was nearly as contrived in the prophecy as I thought it had been, and that the reasons I thought each action took place were different from why they actually happened (such as "Mondo" being forced to fork over the Monster Items to Redda).
Anything else I need to clear up?

Why is Mondo between ""?

Date: 2019-07-14 07:56 pm (UTC)About timelines, what's gonna happen at the end of the third fic actually isn't going to involve travel. I know you claim to have a copy of the fic summaries, but I take it you haven't read them in a while, because I did mention the whole thing there. In any case, what will happen is as follows:
(SPOILERS!)
The Knights venture into the Giygas Tomb. When they reach a certain part of it, Kasumi has to thrust the Time Sword into a wall, so that a beam of energy shoots out from it. But, not just anywhere into the wall; it has to align with the position of the Giygaslayer from when Osama bin Laden parked it to drop off the Giygas Crystals. Namely, with the exact center of the front of it (an organic eye, even though the rest of it was metallic). McKnight has the only remainging crystal that's still intact, and must hold it aligned with the sword and the eye's original position, so as to prevent the beam from going further than it needs to and causing something disastrous. All of this will cause the Giygaslayer in the past to crystalize when bin Laden arrived at the Tomb.
