dmxratedDidn't make it to my job until around noon yesterday, because of my dentist appointment. Beforehand, I had already called Jeremy--at 7:00 A.M.--that I would be coming in late. (Dad called me out on that, telling me that not everyone gets up as early as we do, but he wasn't really mad at me.)
Anyway, yesterday was the worst day I've had so far at my job. For whatever reason, the website that I'm supposed to enter survey results onto just acted weird. Sometimes, something took forever to load,; sometimes, I'd enter someone's voter ID, and couldn't get to that person; and still, at least several lists didn't have a list number. Rob and Jeremy both looked at it at least a few times each. They had me try to enter people's results individually. After about an hour, I just figured, fuck it. I had only managed to enter the results of two lists, and that's all I was able to give back to Jeremy before telling him I was just gonna pack up and leave. (And it wasn't even 2:00 by then.)
After Mom picked me up, she went over to Dad's shop, and dropped me off at Walgreen's to see if they have tapes. They didn't have any, but they told me that DVDs are higher-quality than tapes, and so I bought a pack of them. When I met Mom at the shop, she told me we already have at least four of those, plus our VCR/DVD unit is only able to record with VHS. I went back to return the DVDs and get refunded.
Mom then drove me to Staples, and I got myself a pack of four tapes (they didn't sell singles). Costed $10.85. Done and done.
On the way home, Mom suggested that I offer money to anyone willing to actually translate everything from Makeruna! Makendou Z. Not sure why I didn't think of that, but either way, I still need new clips to work with. Even if I am able to increase the volume on what I have, I would still prefer to have better video quality for them (especially when I get around to finally fandubbing the whole thing), plus I need everything that doesn't have voice acting for the sake of completion. (I think either me or Natsue mis-repeated the word "henshin" (transformation) as "densha" (train) in #11. I didn't show her #10, which depicts Saya's transformation sequence, so that would explain if it was her mistake.)
In any case, I don't even have class tomorrow, so it's not like I'm gonna be able to solicit my project anyway. That gives me a whole week to play the game over again. Plus, Dad's gonna resume going to work instead of doing stuff at home on Monday. Mom will be home then, though, so Tuesday will be perfect to get started.
