dmxratedTurned out yesterday morning that Brian was actually at a friend's house. He came home later on, and brought bagels for us.
Later on, he had some kind of test to take somewhere. It wasn't at Cornell, although he did have to leave last night.
Mom had to drive Marie to the train station shortly after Brian went to take his test. I came with them so I could spend some time at GameStop. However, the two locations were in opposite directions from our house, and I told Mom she could have just dropped me off first, since I didn't know exactly how long it would've taken for me to do what I needed to do there. She said that it takes her 20 minutes to drive to the station, and 20 minutes more to come back, and at that point, it didn't matter anyway, since she was already on her way.
Turns out that GameStop doesn't even have the spare DS anymore. The clerks told me that even if it was still there, they were never actually supposed to let customers use it. That really renders everything a moot point, because if I was dropped off first, I would've waited nearly an hour for nothing, though I could have spent that time looking around at games anyway.
With that all said, that means that the only times I'll have access to another DS will be whenever I arrange meetings with Melissa or whenever we see Cousin Adam and his folks (if he even bothers to bring his). Melissa did reply to my PM, saying that she wasn't actively interested in any of the Pokemon Ranger games beyond the first one. She did ask me if Guardian Signs was worthwhile, though, and I told her that even though that one isn't nearly as challenging as the first game, it could still be enjoyable.
Anything beyond that will probably be specified in an email, when I send her a revised copy of the Parasitic Trio outline.

Chelle told me some time ago that Adalia Glenys is active on YouTube. I just contacted her the other day, and even though the last video she's posted to date was a year ago, I have heard back from her just this morning.
Upon hearing from her, I sent her a copy of what I have for the first chapter of Monster Collection Chronicles. Yeah, I was hoping to keep that a secret for until it's posted, but it's already dragged on for several weeks. Been talking about it with Chelle, but she burned out with it just days ago. Last time I asked Jake, he said he wasn't in the mood to read anything, but that was about a week ago.
Right now, I'm giving it a rest and gonna spend some time with my Pokemon games. Will get back to it and continue at some point, and by then, Chelle should be refreshed enough to read it over and maybe suggest stuff.
