dmxratedYesterday morning, I overheard Mom asking Dad if he remembers that time he called her fat (presumably teasing her), and she went berserk and threw things at him and broke the glass around the stove knobs. I joined in upon hearing that and asked her about that.
Actually, I have a blog entry about that from only a few months after I started this blog. At the time, I thought she got mad over the stove top somehow breaking on its own, but now that I think of it, what probably happened was that the sound of glass cracking was what woke me up and made me aware of the situation.

Speaking of back entries, I should note that I remember writing about Marie's friend Courtney, whose father died and whose mother had already been dead. Recently, she made a brief stop here to pick some stuff up, since she was going to start living with Marie at Simmons Univeristy. Didn't know where to pinpoint the time of her dad's funeral, and didn't think it was all that important anyway at the time, but now that I found it (quite by accident) yesterday, here are some links:
