Feb. 19th, 2011 05:59 amProbably gonna put more focus on the MCC prologue on Monday, since I'd like to get that over with at some point.
Contacted both Melissa and Liam yesterday. Melissa told me she still won't be available for a while, but would contact me if she gets any days off later on. I'll wait until my birthday next month before contacting her again, if she doesn't get back to me before then. Still have yet to hear from Liam.
Drove around with Mom when she got home from work. First stop was the post office; nothing to say about that.
Went to Cathedral Pines afterwards, and while we were walking, Mom noticed some yellow flowers and a note saying "Against all odds" tied to a phone pole.
And finally, to Stop 'N' Shop to pick up ice cream and a can of beans. Breyer's and Stop 'N' Shop brands were on sale, but Mom noticed something that wasn't ice cream but frozen dairy deserts. It was "mint fudge brownie" flavor, and I thought it would be like that Twin-Mint ice cream that Mom got once last summer. I just thought, hey, doesn't really matter what it is, as long as it tastes good. (Didn't taste as spectacularly great when I had some last night, but wasn't bad either.)
Dad was cleaning out the chimney when we got home, and had also started taking down the Christmas lights while he was at it.

Date: 2019-07-15 04:27 pm (UTC)After that chapter, only several other scenarios come to mind. One would involve the Knights strolling through some city and chatting with one another, stopping to eat at a restaurant, and maybe some more fighting there.
The other situation might involve Hitomi and five of the Knights having gotten separated from their friends (either that or intentionally splitting up), all of them giant-sized (except for Hitomi, of course) while exploring an open field or desert, and finding a cave somewhere to settle in while somehow unable to shrink back down. Whether this happens in the first or second fic depends on whether Hitomi becomes good during or at the end of the first fic.
Probably gonna also make a list of places for the Knights to explore at some point (maybe soon, but not quite sure when).

Maybe have a silly first adventure where the giant insects try to steal Anneth's food before the picknick (?) starts, and they'll have to ward them off. This gives them some early field exercise without dumping the villain's mooks on them, who would not have much reason to randomly be there.

What kind of city? Human, elf, ogre, dwarf? If it's a human city, it could be one close to the Sixgate Academy where they could meet Luke and Beginner, though a human city might be a rather boring destination. The Cloud Islands is also an option, which has folks from all over the world.
Having Mondo and Rokuna show them around is also a good excuse to have them start hearing about suspicious activity, which would indicate the movements of the villains as they secretly search for the items.
Also, something's gotta be done about Count Collection.

Date: 2019-07-15 04:29 pm (UTC)As for the kind of city they'd be traveling, I was definitely thinking of something with various different races, kinda like Pandaemonium in your fic. Gonna have to rewatch either episode set in the Cloud Islands, to see what they were like.
And yes, I will include Count C in the plot. His first appearance in the ficseries might be a good first time for the Knights to try out their new powers.
