Dad's been having me scrub a whole pile of brick tiles in the garden for him in the garden these past few days. This is actually a better time than any for him to ask me of that. Right now in Pokemon Diamond, I've just been going on walks in Amity Square, rolling for a double-5 between each walk to see whether I go for another one or go buy some contest accessories in Floaroma Town, while watering some berries I've got growing on Route 208. Having to wash the bricks means that my berries have more time to grow before I just get started with the Super Contests.

After I finish with the Super Contests, I'm gonna collect whatever berries are ripe yet, and then have a break from Diamond before taking care of Stark Mountain and the Battle Tower. I remember last year, having played all the way through the Kanto half and the Battle Frontier in SoulSilver, and it made me somewhat tired. Not sure why I didn't take a break at some point during that whole month of playing, even though I had taken one in certain previous games such as Crystal and LeafGreen despite having not nearly so much left to do upon coming back to them.

Decided recently that I'm no longer interested in Pokemon Battle Revolution. So much for any real reason for having gotten the Wii for my birthday, which I also chipped in with my BestBuy gift card from the previous Christmas.

Yesterday, I had a convo with Jake about the Battle Frontier in Parasitic Trio, and I think I might have pissed him off or something.

Well, to start off, whenever I listen to the Frontier Brain theme from Pokemon Platinum and HGSS, what comes to mind mainly are the unique animations that the Brain in question presents before fighting you. This is one of several reasons why, as of yesterday, I have decided to add the Battle Subway from Black and White to the Frontier, though also because the Subway itself seemed pretty interesting when I read about it in the player's guide despite my intention not to continue with the games after Diamond, HeartGold, and Platinum. In their case, Ingo and Emmet could each twirl once and then give out a thumb-down (Ingo) or thumb-up (Emmet) before fighting you (similar to how Ash sometimes does a single spin and holds out a Poke Ball or Badge in the anime), complete with holding their unused hands together between those two actions if you're fighting both of them simultaneously.

Wanting the trains to travel in a straight line, first thing I could think of where the opposite terminal would lead to was the Battle Frontier from Emerald. At first, I wasn't sure if that should be it, given that that is supposed to be May's mini-quest between challenging the Elite Four in Hoenn and traveling to Sinnoh. However, all Ellen gets is more exploration (at the remaining Sevii Islands), and originally, Jamie was going to have the PokeAthlon, but is now just due to hunt for the remaining Johto legendaries and challenge the standalone Battle Tower from Crystal each night, all for one week. I told Jake at first that the Emerald Battle Frontier was out of the question, asked him if he could suggest anything different, but then told him that I might change my mind about it. Unfortunately, I've pretty much finalized letting the Subway lead to the Emerald Frontier, though this might change again later on.

Jake also told me before the convo ended, that he wishes that I wouldn't even include either of the Battle Frontiers at all in the ficseries, and that even editing out their respective arcs for his personal edition will not make him feel better. Sorry, but those, along with the Pal Park, are exactly what I'm looking waaaayyyy forward to in particular.

To top it all off, I've drawn up a map of Nihiron according to Parasitic Trio last night. Check it out if you want:
