Oct. 30th, 2011 06:58 amYesterday, Mom dropped me off at Stop 'N' Shop to pick up a bag of M&M's to bake cookies with, and went to Savers just across the parking lot to look for a picture frame. She told me to look for a bag at the candy aisle, but I somehow missed that aisle and instead got two from near the cash registers. When I met her back in the car, she told me that was the wrong kind, and before we left the parking lot, we decided to exchange them for the right bag. I waited in line at customer service while she went to get it.
While we were in line, I noticed two guys walk by us wearing colored t-shirts depicting an aztec animal symbol. One was green with a monkey, and the other was purple with a parrot. I realized that they were dressed up as contestants from Legends of the Hidden Temple, that game show that I (and supposedly Brian and Marie as well) used to like back in 1994.
Exactly where they managed to find shirts relating to something that aired way back when I was in 2nd grade is anybody's guess. Pretty interesting, though, despite the fact that that show aired on Nickelodeon.
