Nov. 24th, 2011 06:00 amMarie came home yesterday, but had a bit of a cough. When she asked me what's new, I told her about Mother 3, and also about the Lucky Star fic I've been collaborating with Jake and Chelle on. Later on, when Mom came home, the two of them went to some thrift store somewhere, but I declined to go.
For dessert, we had some canoles and some chocolate chip cookies that Grandpa had brought with him here. Some of us already had a cookie or two beforehand, and I took a half of a canole and half of a cookie. Marie didn't want anything, and Grandpa offered half of the cookie that he took.
Should also note that earlier on, Dad looked at the box of canoles, and I mistakenly told him that those were for after dinner on Thanksgiving (that being tonight, of course). He jokingly asked me if I was the police, I told him I was just letting him know, and he asked me if I meant I was letting him off with a warning. I did tell him that he could have one of those cookies or even one of some blueberry muffins that Grandpa had also brought with him, and offered to make him some lunch, but it was only (about) 10:30, too early for him since he likes to eat much closer to noon.
