dmxratedFinished reading volume 2 of Lucky Star yesterday morning. Read 79 pages into volume 3 during an optometrist appointment (including in the car, while Mom had several other stops to make before and after).
So far, most (if not all) of what's happened in the anime has been covered in just three volumes of the manga. Considering that the series isn't exactly timeless, and that the girls are already in their senior year by the end of the anime and volume 2 of the manga, one has to wonder how the writers managed to stretch the remainder of the school year for five more volumes and counting? (Also suggests that there might be a second season of the anime at some point, especially since the girls still have yet to actually graduate after the currently last episode ends.)

Turns out that those Yoo-hoos I got for Christmas were contained in juiceboxes instead of in bottles. Stored four in the fridge, hoping to have some with a toasted bagel, but I ended up having some egg nog instead.

Finally started over w/ volume 2 of Japanese in Mangaland. Managed to do the exercises for three chapters (not counting chapter 33, which covers airport communication) without playing anything in-between. At this point, though, it is getting tedious, and I still have yet to play Makeruna! Makendou Z for a third time in order to properly record everything from Matoundo's scene onward.
