Went with Mom yesterday to shop for new sneakers for me and a new gym bag. Failed to find any kind of either that appealed to us, but we did go food shopping while we were out. I got some kind of ice cream with Junior Mints in it.
When we got home, Mom chewed me out for having screwed up while preparing a slab of corned beef earlier in the day. Namely, that I was supposed to cover the meat, not the bottom of the pan, with aluminum foil. It was still edible enough for her to make Reuben sandwiches out of, though.
