dmxratedStarted working for Mr. Sheridan yesterday. To start with, all there was to do yesterday was raking twigs into piles to be bagged. There are some stumps that he intends to uproot with the backhoe, but he said he'd get around to that this morning, after which I agreed to dig them the rest of the way out. (Mom and Dad have also suggested that I tell him about my capabilities of splitting wood and sawing branches next time I go see him.)

Marie didn't come to the gym with us yesterday because she had some taxes to take care of on her computer.
Upon leaving the gym, we picked up a pizza from Cafe Gia (right in the same shopping center, just next to GameStop) for my birthday. We ate it right when we got home, and then Mom let me go shower off while she and Marie clear everything up.
For cake, Mom got something consisting of a layer of cheesecake, a layer of chocolate mousse, and topped with the same kind of chocolate that one puts on Boston cream pie. For presents, I received Magical Witch Punie-chan and this Japanese slang dictionary called "Dirty Japanese", and also got a $50 check from Grandma Barbara. On the first of those, it said that the audio is Japanese, with English subtitles, but then I read on Wikipedia that that show actually has a set of American voice actors.
After we ate, Marie was on the couch with Mom, chatting with Grandma Barbara through her i-phone. I joined them briefly, and got to see her new dog Lizzie, along with Taz, before resuming a convo I was having with Jake.
