dmxratedWe had quite a downpour yesterday morning. Mom, who was staying home from work for the day, heard the sound of hail on the driveway while having a shower, and I noticed a few chunks of it bouncing off the boathouse after she mentioned it. We then looked out the front door to see some more of it on the driveway.
There wasn't that much, actually, but I think this is the first time I've ever seen hail in my life, not to mention the fact that it actually happened in the middle of summer.
Another coincidence is that I was watching episode 19 of Nichijou, which involved a downpour at some point, resulting from the three girls forgetting to do some kind of assignment.
Throughout the whole scene in question, they sport this odd facial expression, which I actually had seen previously of Yuko on Google Images. At the time, I thought that that was just someone's artwork of a Daria-esque version of her, since the expression in question did almost resemble the design of someone's face on that show, but it ironically turns out to have actually happened.
For the record, it happens all the time on certain anime that someone's face becomes comical in some way, but usually, it only lasts for about five seconds tops. Since it was there for an entire scene, I skipped to the next scene halfway through. But then, the episode started taking an excessive amount of time to buffer, so I'm gonna have to pick up where I left off today.
