dmxratedMatthew received the copy of Chronicles of 7th Grade I sent him, and sent me an email asking me for my current phone number. I sent it to him, and later on, he gave me a call while I was reading something on Cracked.com. Talked about various things with him, before he asked if Mom would like to talk to him. I put her on, and she chatted a bit with him, and then spoke to his mother Maryanne for a while before putting me on again. I spoke with Maryanne for a bit, and then Matthew again for a bit longer.
Most noteworthy point during the whole conversation is that Matthew had gotten an Associate's Degree in game coding, and is now seeking a job in that field. Mom suggested that I find out where he went to school, and maybe that I can go down there and live away from her and Dad for a while, possibly increasing my chances of landing some kind of job.
Will probably consider that later on, when I don't have so much stuff planned out as I currently have.
