dmxratedManaged to finally spend most of what was left on that gift card. $10.84 on a set of 1,000 Wii Points, which I spent on Mega Man 9, since I will be playing that at some point, and $5 more on more DeviantArt points. That leaves me with 74 cents left over, which I'll probably spend on a scratch card. (Mom will most likely go down to Dad's workshop tomorrow to feed the cats there, so I'll come with her then and then hit the gas station for one.)
If I weren't being so hasty, it probably would have occurred to me to spend part of what I had on Angry Birds Space instead of more dA points. Missing an opportunity is what I get for being so reckless. But then again, I do plan on giving point incentives to anyone who comes up with stuff to happen in chapter 3 of Starbound or the fic as a whole once I have chapter 2 up. If that fails, I'll probably announce some points-only assignments on Job Offers.
I also don't understand why DeviantArt and the Angry Birds store didn't accept my card the first time around if they're able to accept gift cards at all. Next time I do receive a gift card from someone, though, I'll know how to use it and use it only when there's anything in particular I want that I don't have to pay for through PayPal.
