dmxratedMom and I have agreed yesterday that she will come pick me up next Wednesday, since Dad has to have an operation in Manhattan on that day.

Went to some Chinese restaurant with Uncle Robby and Cousin Adam for the latter's birthday. For dessert, we got some assorted ice cream, each topped with a fortune cookie. Mine and Robby's both read "Don't let friends impose on you. Work slowly and calmly." That's pretty ironic, given how loyalty to one's group is emphasized over the needs of an individual throughout Asia.
