dmxratedMom baked a lemon pound cake the other day. So far, I've only had one slice, while Dad had nearly a whole quarter of it in total.
Yesterday, I noticed three strips of blue duct tape keeping the lid and plate shut that it was being kept inside. At first, I thought Mom applied those to keep Dad from bingeing on it, but then she called me to hide the whole thing somewhere in my room as a joke, since it was actually Dad who taped it shut as a joke on her. (Perfect timing as well, since I was waiting for just four minutes for the washing machine to finish up before putting the wash out to dry, instead of playing a round of Kira tto Kaiketsu.) I hid it inside this small storage unit that Dad recently built for me, where I've been keeping my PC-FX, my Nintendo 64 (inside the box that it was mailed to New Jersey in the other month), and all my remaining Nintendo Power magazines.
