Dec. 26th, 2013 04:47 amBeen having a cold these past few days, although I was at least able to come to Bobbique with Brian and Marie on Monday night. Haven't been as lively this year for Christmas while we were distributing and opening presents.
Got various things for Christmas this year, including all seven volumes of Alice the 19th. Even more noteworthy is a laminated picture of some Lucky Star pic from Konachan.net that I previously used as my wallpaper before my PC stopped maintaining it. It even came with a picture frame, which I later inserted it into, although Mom has yet to find something to hang the picture up with. Brian said that he had it made into that at Staples, so maybe I'll request hard copies of other images if I decide to in the future. (No one manages to pull off sex appeal and childlike cuteness at the same time quite like Hiyori Tamura when she bends forward like that in nothing but her glasses and a skimpy, pine-green bikini!)
On my part, I got Mom some dessert plates that I recently bought at Savers, and Dad a new wheelbarrow. Actually, Mom bought the latter just yesterday, since I was too sick to go shopping with her, but it was still my idea to begin with, since the one we've had is just decrepit (still usable on its own for moving wood or bricks, but some holes need to be patched up for sand or topsoil). For Marie, Mom let me give her a Starbucks card that she happened to have. And, I chipped in with Marie for a chess set for Brian.
Oh, and Mom says that I got a white chocolate orange in my stocking this year, as opposed to the dark-chocolate ones we all usually get. I still have yet to actually open it, but Mom must've gotten the idea when I tried some white chocolate ball samples on the way out from Costco recently.
