Writing from Marie's apartment in Boston, where we've decided to spend Thanksgiving this year. This is also the first time I've ever been there.

So, got up at three in the morning yesterday, which has become common for me these days, and was gonna play Candy Crush on my laptop instead of on my PC before Mom and Dad wake up. However, of all days it could've happened, someone asked that morning if they could take up my mugshot commission, and I happened to like her art style. Was gonna take my hard drive out to the garage to blow out, but I instead had to turn it on in order to save a relevant document to my flash drive. Glad I did, though, because as it would turn out, the game doesn't run as smoothly on my laptop as on my PC, even though videos and emulators do (and even after installing Adblock Plus to that thing). Managed to complete Choco Rio Grande and clear one level in Fanciful Fort before turning the machine off, which means I now have the Tooth Fairy on her way to help me to the next episode during a time which I won't be playing the game.

Rode in the van, since we had a mattress and two bookcases to drop off at the apartment. Even though we normally pick Marie up at the ferry station in Port Jefferson, we drove instead to one in Greenport, so that we'd spend the rest of the way on nicer routes than an expressway.

While we were on the ferry, I bought myself two thick chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate Nesquik with a ten that Mom lent me (came out to $7.44). She suggested I split one cookie in half and have one of the halves, and I figured I could share the rest with Brian and Marie once we reached the place. Spent the rest of the ride pacing up and down the aisles after finishing the one half and my drink, and I eventually noticed someone playing some card game featuring several cute anime girls on his iPad. Asked him what it was, and it turned out to be Keitai Shoujo Solitaire: Freecell. Typed it on Mom's phone so I'd remember to look it up on my laptop.

Ate breakfast at a restaurant called Mystic Diner. I ordered some Challah French toast, bacon, and cranberry juice. Meant to order some Canadian bacon to try out, but no biggie.

Made our way to the apartment, and I offered Marie the other half of that cookie after greeting her. She declined, and Mom said I could have it if I'd like. Brian came shortly after, along with one of Marie's roommates John.

We also got to see this cat named Sophie for the first time. Here's a picture Marie took of me squeezing my face against her like I do with Mabel:

Had some steak, roasted Brussel sprouts, cranberries, and these baked potatoes with melted cheese and bits of celery on top. Mostly missed dessert because I went to bed at around 6. I normally wait until 7 to do so, but getting up so early as I've been each morning doesn't help. Only got up to meet Brian's girlfriend Coleen and have a slice of some French silk pie that she brought with her.

In other news, I *did* consider suggesting that someone MST Cries Unheard if it ever is completed. I mean, whenever I visit THEM Anime Reviews, my favorite ones to read tend to be the snarky one-star reviews. However, one of my issues with the story itself is whether or not the boys' in-story schemes will mostly involve the main for or others equally, and in the former case, even a sporking would be out of the question for me.
