Went with my parents and Marie yesterday to the building where Marie works. Saw various things there, such as a woodwork shop, some foosball tables, a home-style kitchen, and a drumset that Dad tried out. Also noticed something on a bookcase featuring anime characters (apparently from the '80s), written by Seibundo Shinkosha, the 365th volume of a series called Idea or something like that.

Managed to discuss some stuff with Brian that I recently emailed him, regarding character development, game structure, and a convo I had with Jake about those. Also showed him this Cracked article that I recently discovered, which explains what Mighty Morphin Power Rangers originated as and why certain parts seem awkward, since we used to watch that as kids. He told me that even back then, he noticed certain things being off about it, such as the lack of continuity between the moment the Megazord fires a beam from its sword and when said beam actually strikes the monster for a given episode. He suggested that I share it onto his Facebook page, and to be honest, I'm not sure why I didn't think of that before.

(For the record, I did look up Wikipedia's page for the movie after reading that article the first time, and it's specified to have been filmed in America.)

Started driving back home at around 1 or 2 PM. We drove the whole way this time, and it was dark by the time we reached home. I managed to get a lot of sleep in for the day, though, so I was at least awake enough to check my messages and play Candy Crush for half an hour.
