dmxratedGot a haircut today, and decided to buy a QuickDraw ticket at the nearby gas station. They don't run that, so I defaulted on New York Lotto.
Remembered afterwards that that game ends on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and today being a Thursday, I should have instead gotten Cash4Life. Now I have to wait till Sunday on a game that I'm probably not gonna win.
Well, last time I bought a ticket was the day before going with Dad to Virginia (due to rolling 8's each week since), and it's been even longer since I had to default to a bi-weekly game. Been out of mind, today was an unexpected day I suggested to Mom we have off from the gym (from which I leave my wallet home), and if it occurred to me some time before I went inside, I would have gotten it straightened out.
In any case, I'm just writing this as a reminder not to screw up like that again:
Sunday: nothing
Mon/Thu: Cash4Life
Tue/Fri: Mega Millions
Wed/Sat: New York Lotto or PowerBall*
(*Depending on how much I intend to spend or whether or not I rolled a 1.)
