Then again, even Witches themselves tend canonically to be more complex in form than what Andy had described for each of his creations. Let's see:
Betty: Volleyball
Penny: Empty Mikuru costumes
Catherine: Printing press
Gemma: Stained glass window (depicting Yutaka and Minami as Puellae Magi)
Zelda: An exception, as it's unknown where or even what she actually is within her barrier.
Gerda: Ice thistle
Anastasia: Tooth with glasses and doctor's headpiece
Maria Sophia: Japanese mirror
Georgina: Monkey
Serena: Celestial
Camille: Arcade machine
Granted, there are certain Witches listed yesterday that aren't so intricate in form either, such as Albertine (a young girl with blonde hair in twin poofs) and Roberta (a bird in a cage). Others, though, include a blob with insect legs, butterfly wings, and a rosebush for a face (Gertrud); a TV set with a crying, pigtailed girl's head attached (Kirsten); and a robot comprised partly of a motorcycle (Gisela, who even assumes two different forms under that description).
It does help, though, that certain barriers Andy (and I) thought up are somewhat more creative, such as Betty's (a cross between a kitchen and a gymnasium), Penny's (flimsy cardboard sets of a fake Akihabara), Catherine's (walls comprised of doujinshi pages), and Gemma's (a cross between a hospital and a medieval castle). Ditto for certain Familiars, such as Betty's (various food mascots in gym uniforms), Catherine's (mouse cursors and cupids w/ pens for heads), and Gerda's (Yutaka and Cherry as a kimono-clad woman and a sled dog respectively).
