Dec. 25th, 2015 04:28 amBHS finally got back to me yesterday, after I brought up the possibility of discussing just Ayase/Luca with him in a last-ditch effort. He told me that he is too busy to help me form a full-fledged plot for anything, but at least hearing back from him makes me feel less antsy.
Brian and Marie came home not long afterwards. The real issue at hand, my lack of inclination to read anything, is something I plan on bringing up with Brian during his time here. (There are also a few things Jake has written that he wants me to read, but I've been having a hard time getting around to that either. It does help, though, that I'm pretty much done playing Kiratto Kaiketsu for the time being.)

Went to Target with Brian and Marie last night to pick up various things, particularly balloons for the dining room chandelier. During the ride there, I told them of having found out that Nickelodeon's original studio complex in Orlando has been abandoned since 2005. While Nick itself is still alive and well (obviously operating from elsewhere), the two of them did comment that it's nothing like what it used to be when we were kids, something Mom and Dad also mentioned months ago after reading a magazine article that I checked out the next day.
How I found out about that... Well, the other day, Dad was watching this YouTube clip on TV, comprised of various photographs of abandoned trains. I overheard the song that was playing, and joined him until he stopped watching just after a different song started. Checked out the person's videos in general who hosted it, featuring all kinds of abandoned vehicles and places in general.

Needless to say, other people's similar videos started appearing under "Recommended", and the one with the original Nickelodeon Studios was one of them.
I am actually rather interested, especially since part II of Monster Collection Chronicles (set mostly during '04) was going to revolve around Nickelodeon and even include a raid on the building. Given how sensitive I still am to many of the network's earlier shows (the first-party animated ones, particularly from before '00), I'll probably have to wash whatever I see down with up to an entire season of either Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005) or its sequel series The Legend of Korra (2012) in one sitting.

And, we all know what day today is, so to celebrate, enjoy episode 11 of Lucky Star, and have a Moe Christmas!
