Feb. 29th, 2016 05:04 amJake shared his thoughts about the Starbound timeline and the outline's current revision yesterday. First thing he brought up was about the names of certain people related to Shigesato and Mikami.
To start with, those two characters had four children named Shiina, Jitsuko, Genichi, and Nobutoki throughout their marriage. Genichi, the older of two sons, dismissed everything about the Magé Stones as fabrication and married a miko named Asuka Higashiguchi, who would eventually give birth to Kagami and Tsukasa's father Tadao to pass her religion on through. Nobutoki, the younger son, did take up his father's research, and would marry someone named Hidemi Tsushima (surname unspecified in the actual file), who would give birth to Ichirobei. And, Shiina and Jitsuko became pretty much irrelevant; I only created them to fulfill a two-sons-two-daughters ensemble, kinda like how Inori and Matsuri exist to complete a four-daughter ensemble of Tadao and Miki's despite being minor characters.
Jake's main complaint is about how "made up" certain names seem. He did offer some alternative names for Shiina, Jitsuko, Nobutoki, and Hidemi (several for the first, and his suggestions in order for the remaining were Ritsuko, Nobuhiro, and Hitomi). While I wouldn't mind playing along with him (Shiina will become Rina) and am always open to suggestions in general, I still trust Wikipedia enough to provide me with a sufficient pool to choose from, instead of me picking names I'm already familiar with, more than not of which include the "k" sound for some reason.
(For the record, the only name I ever invoked As Long As It Sounds Foreign with was Takeshi's surname, Okimichi (based on "Pokey Minch", someone he was to expy), for part II of Monster Collection Chronicles, and I plan for that to be all.)

Just found out that you don't need lives to play the daily bonus challenge in Bubble Witch Saga. Was gonna ask Mom for more lives after getting one from her and running out, but the game just let me continue playing instead.
Also turns out that those levels are selected randomly from Eternal Isles.
I did notice having lost a life each time I beat the challenge previously, but didn't think anything of it. Having learned those other two things, I think I'll forego the bonus challenge from now on and just stick to the regular and EI levels.
