My calculator wouldn't start up, and I'm not sure whether it's the batteries or the device itself that died. Had to start my exam off writing various math problems on scratch paper, and asked at one point if anyone had an extra I could borrow. Someone gave me his upon finishing, and I was able to go back and redo everything I had done to that point.

This should be a reminder to test my calculator out before each exam I take in the future.
