Jun. 30th, 2016 05:20 amDone working on Ellen's second chapter for now, but have yet to decide what I'd like to play while I let my muse recharge. This is the reason I made a point of buying some anime f.y.e., but so far, I instead wound up watching one episode a day of Strawberry Marshmallow just to pass time in the afternoon when I'm not writing. (On that note, I suppose I should order a few more titles from Amazon soon, especially with Queen's Blade: Beautiful Warriors having turned out to be a spinoff from Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin.)
Considering playing The Legend of Heroes III: Song of the Ocean right now. That being an RPG, I'd normally save that for when I actually feel like focusing on Starbound. However, I've spoken to Brian several times this past month, and he seems rather optimistic about landing a new job soon and has agreed to go over certain things I've printed with me next time he's home.
As badly as I want to see how the second Battle Frontier arc will unfold, I don't want to rush the story itself or treat it as a chore that needs to get done just to get there. That would just make the whole thing (including that arc) pointless. That would be a pretty good reason against simpler games I've considered, including Mega Man, Angry Birds, Chip-chan Kick!, Super God Trooper Zeroigar, Kiratto Kaiketsu, and the remainder of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Dragon Warrior III should wait until I'm actually ready to come back to Starbound, especially with my laptop (which a ROM copy already sits on) still awaiting a repair.
If I happen to enjoy Song of the Ocean enough despite its barely existent difficulty, I might just consider buying A Tear of Vermillion after all while I still await a Nintendo 3DS for Christmas.
