dmxratedTwo nights ago, I spotted an owl on top of a tree across Long Island Avenue. Meanwhile, Marie was at work, and Mom and Dad were having a boat ride. it flew away by the time they got home, but I did tell Mom about it, and she told Dad. Dad told me he saw an owl once as well, back in the 70's.
I had my Suffolk job interview yesterday. It went smoothly, but I was told that the paperwork can't be processed until I show my social security card, which I usually leave at home. After it ended, Mom had to drive to borders, and I went with her. While I was there, I noticed some Happy Bunny book called What's Your Sign?. I read the whole thing before leaving. (By the way, I read on Wikipedia earlier yesterday that those books are actually aimed towards teens and shouldn't be mistaken for regular children's books.)
When we got home, I noticed a baby toad near the garage. I've seen toads before, but they were the size of golf balls. This one was the size of a marble. I brought it inside the house to show everyone, and Marie wanted to take pictures of it. Mom got a plastic cookie bin to put it in so it wouldn't escape onto the tablecloth, and then we brought it back outside.
