dmxratedBought a new copy each of Sonic Heroes and the Sonic Mega Collection Plus on Ebay yesterday, as Brian's gifts for Christmas. Forgot that Mom had signed into Ebay on my computer to watch something that wound up too high for us, so I accidentally paid for them through her PayPal account. (We initially agreed to let three weeks' worth of allowance compensate for it, although two would be dropped when she happened not to have cash to lend me for a haircut anyway while I currently happen to have a nice walletful.)
Even though I did see the latter game at Savers several months ago, it was only a week or so since this even came to mind. Originally, I considered downloading just Sonic Spinball and Sonic & Knuckles onto my Wii, but then there's also Sonic the Hedgehog 3 that S&K was designed to combine with to form what was supposed to be that game in its entirety, to say nothing of everything else worth exploring on SMC+. Besides which, he still has our original Playstation 2 and nothing else of his own that I know of (The other game systems I saw at his place might be his roommates'), so I can easily send him off with just the game and my memory card.
With that, I will make a point starting today of finishing that May chapter already. Mom is taking off from work tomorrow until next Monday, so she can fill me in then on the details of a website she's suggested I make as Dad's gift this year. And then, when the two games arrive, I'll take a breather then to play what's on there and pre-unlock everything else before wrapping up at least the Collection Plus. (Sonic Heroes is mainly for unlocking two of said games, which will then be stored on my memory card, and I would rather maintain focus on all those older games.)
