Nov. 14th, 2017 05:29 amJason only got back to me, citing a charity affair he was busy with as the reason he took so long to do so, after I already assigned a chapter each to three other people, at which point I had already revoked May's chapter that I originally asked him to work on. However, at one point, the person I assigned Ellen's chapter to asked to back out, and I went on to give that to him instead.
And so, here is finally that:

Mom brought me to the library yesterday afternoon, at my request after seeing most of combined volumes of Puella Magi Kazumi and Suzune Magica in on their website earlier on. Kazumi volume 1 was said on the site to be due on the 24th, but while I didn't initially notice either series in the teen section's manga shelf, the receptionist there led me to the young adult section, where I found that and two other volumes, but nothing else. That section's receptionist almost led me to the carts, where he assumed they'd be, but then Mom found me and said she found the rest on a new books shelf near the entrance.
Got them, and also went back to pick up volumes 1-3 of Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends, since that, too, had caught my attention while I was looking around.
(While I'm on this topic, I should probably ask someone how they determine which manga gets sorted for teens vs young adults. I've noticed Ranma 1/2 in the former, but much more benign series like Lucky Star (v. 1) in the latter. (The aforementioned Suzune Magica and Haganai are not so overt either; what are they doing with Love Hina and Negima!, where Ranma belongs with?))
(Also arranged a ride with SCAT for the first time in years, for a trip to Barnes & Noble on Friday, mainly to catch up on Puella Magi Oriko Magica: Sadness Prayer and Tart Magica. Planning to bring most of my gathered Puella Magi manga (and some unrelated) up to Brian's, after he asked over the phone the other night to send me a list of all the different Puellae Magi in the franchise for a new story. Even though he's obviously not gonna read everything, but I think it would fit at least to give him a selection to choose from.)
