dmxratedGot back to Unwilling Service earlier than I had planned to, after burning out on it two weeks ago.
Wasn't able to find Magia Record on the Google Play Store through Marie's phone; even a page linked from Puella Magi Wiki only allows me to actually download it on my computer, and when Mom bought a cord with which to connect the phone and computer, it turned out to have the wrong-shaped end, so we need to go to BestBuy to actually find the right one.
Also got around to registering an account for Archive Of Our Own, but as it turns out, you need to be invited first after submitting your email address. I was told that I should expect an invitation on January 7.
Glad I came back to US before Brian comes here, though. For the second time so far, I had forgotten how to properly implement algorithms in Javascript, and had to manually replace "n" with the number I want. Will need Brian to show me again how to execute it properly.
So far, I am looking forward to whatever Jake will have to say regarding last year's ordeal, and am hoping to win him back if that becomes possible. However, even the holidays and yet another traumatic event on his end aside, it could be months for all I know before he actually is able to, judging by how long it took for Chelle to properly explain her issues about two (initially not) f-locked entries I wrote a year ago. All I've really meant to do, was to prevent an awkward situation from arising should he want anything online that he lacks any means of his own to obtain, after having already apologized for how I wound up treating him not too long ago (before which the answer would've just been no). Whenever I do stall, it will have nothing to do with him, unless he actually does agree to beta-write something at any point after we finish sorting things out once and for all (and even then, I'll still move on if he only gives me more bullshit like last year). Jason and Michael already told me that they'll be up for more work after the holidays, someone I had previously given May's chapter to never actually did anything with it or even replied to my emails after our original exchange, and I would also like to eventually get around to showing Brian my outline and discuss certain things with him (after I show him those player's guides and what I already have online first) next time one of us visits the other. (Buying those guides now had already proven unfeasible last week, and I would like not to overload him with stuff to go over.)
(Even though there are certain things I would still rather keep or deny, and even if he still declines to work on anything, I would like him to enjoy Unwilling Service in general. After all, its inspiration had everything to do with him, and if nothing else, perhaps when we're back on terms with eachother, maybe he could simply read my stuff over and suggest stuff he would've done, either specifically or in general. It is possible, though, that anything specific he did (such as Ellen sunbathing or Scott pinching May's butt) might've just come to mind for him as he went along.)
