Oct. 17th, 2006 06:11 amYesterday morning, on the way to school, Mom told me that everyone who participates in the Halloween party this year is required to dress up. At first, I told her that I might skip it, but I didn't confirm that yet. She's a doctor, so she suggested that I dress up as a mad scientist, by wearing her lab coat and putting fake blood on it. I put some thought into going while I was at school, and obviously, not many people (if anyone) are going to dress up as cartoon characters like kids in elementary school. I decided I will go.
I finished reading Forrest Gump yesterday. I told Mom that the book runs on different canon from the movie. For example, I don't remember seeing him going into space, getting stranded in New Guinea, or becoming a pro wrestler in the movie, and the book never mentions him becoming a runner or getting hired into Apple Computers (which he refers to as "some kind of fruit company"). Mom did tell me that Apple might have paid to have a subliminal message put into the movie, though.
I found Entei yesterday, so now I'm able to track him down. So far, I taught Zap Cannon to Raikou, which paralyzed Entei and saved me a lot of fighting, but even when paralyzed, Entei still always runs away. I also can't capture him with an Ultra Ball or Heavy Ball, which makes me wish I froze him instead, but Zap Cannon is one of the few moves that guarantees a status ailment. It will also do me a lot of good against Lugia, Ho-oh, and Red. As of now, I still have to use a False Swipe against him, and I have a Level 25 Scyther to do the job.
