May. 26th, 2018 07:29 amEVO did not actually hold my interest when I started playing it last week. Spent the next few days doing various chores, some pertaining to a renovation Dad's been doing in the basement, before playing Getter Love!! on Wednesday.
Mom asked me yesterday morning why I'm not playing anything on the Switch. I told her that I already tried the Mario game out twice, and it failed to hold my interest both times. The Zelda game is too involved for me to squeeze into the one week remaining before Dad and I leave, and Disgaea 5 is going to be for when I'm ready to write the next Starbound chapter but need to clear my head first.
Probably gonna bring my Nintendo 64 to Virginia to continue playing there as well. Would prefer to keep things simple if I can expect to be helping Dad and David most of the time we're there, and if I don't, it's not likely that any of Aunt Marie or Uncle Ray's games are gonna do any more for me than they did three years ago.

Recently, I had three bags of recycling for Target, but Mom and I went on a day when the store was completely closed, including the chamber where the machines are located. Mom suggested I leave them behind for someone else to take, and I simply played along, even though it seemed more likely that one of the store staff would just dispose of them along with all other non-authorized items.
Yesterday, Mom dropped me off at Stop & Shop before heading into Savers (we didn't bother with the gym), in order to dispose of a total of five bags I had accumulated. Had just half a bag of cans left when both can machines wound up too full for more, and decided to bring that back home, although I couldn't put them inside since Mom had the keys.
Soon as we left Savers after I met her inside, she suggested I leave those somewhere for someone else to take, but I wasn't feeling all that inclined this time, after having discarded some non-returnables and figuring I could supplement the remainder with anything I toss over the side of Bobby's deck or supplement any new whole bags w/ said remainder itself for just one ticket.
Really, though, these are just circumstances I never did anticipate before, and I probably should form some sort of policy from now on. From now on, no, I will not leave cans and bottles behind when they're more likely just to be thrown away by someone who works at the store than examined by someone on their way inside. (I did give a few bottles to someone else already making a deposit while depositing my cans, since it seemed more practical than to just deposit those myself for a simple 15-cent ticket, so there's that at least.)
