dmxratedMarie actually stayed over just for yesterday, but will be going to the city for real today before coming back tomorrow.
She and Mom had made plans to shop for dresses for a wedding, and decided on Tanger Outlets to look. Mom let me know in advance, but having already had a couple of breakfast sausages and a bagel (the latter one of six we went out to buy) instead of cereal, I wasn't feeling all that hungry even by 11:15 when they were about to leave, which ruled out any point of eating out at all. That turned out really for the better, given a total of three hours they took, and Mom even had mentioned beforehand that she didn't know how long they'd be.

Chelle reblogged someone's question to her to answer on Tumblr about Voltron: Legacy Defender, regarding a line from The King of Braves GaoGaiGar that someone in the show might have said something similar to. Being unfamiliar with either show, I thought at first that the character saying it might have been someone similar to Mikoto Utsugi, whom I had only recently discovered in the thumbnail for this top-anime-OP-by-year video on YouTube and found attractive enough to consider watching that show at some point, but then I pulled her up on Google Images, and found every detail I observed to match verbatim. (Part of my confusion stemmed from a lack of a GaoGaiGar tag, but then again, maybe Chelle herself wasn't all that familiar with that show either.)
(Similarly, and I neglected to mention this then, but late in 2010, I came across this game called Sunset Riders on YouTube, and was about to check it out during some downtime at my internship, but Jeremy asked me to turn the volume down on my laptop, and I wound up not watching it. It was only a few months later that the Angry Video Game Nerd would refer to it offhand late in his review for Day Dreamin' Davey.)
