dmxratedBrian had to return the car two nights ago, and I went with him. Due to how late at night it was, we ended up eating dinner at The Haven at around midnight, and what I got kept me full until lunch yesterday.
Managed to cover the last of what I needed to while commuting with him to work. Leaving the subway, there was this small marketplace set up just nearby, and I got myself a turkey sandwich, a "cowboy cookie", and a vanilla chocolate-chip meringue (all with a bottle of water, though). Went back to the apartment afterwards, and had a few hour-long naps on and off while also managing a walk down the street at one point.
Brian found himself not feeling well by the time he came back from work, and I ate out alone at Dogwood while he watched some stuff on TV. When I came back, he was doing some work on his computer, but I cued him to read chapter 1 of Magica Madoka Veneficus Puella, which I found on a fake website after it turned out to have been taken it down on FanFiction, after the concept of Cibi and the inspiration for that had previously come up. (Not linking, because not only did the author state that he "dies a little inside" every time someone reads or reviews it, but the site in question is an obvious trap through which to steal anyone's credentials who logs in.)
As it turns out even though I seem to recall someone else's outfit (can't remember whose) more briefly described to have less color than in canon, the description for Mami's attire mostly matches her canon design. Her muskets' description match entirely, and her beret wasn't really black but still a very dark color (purple-ish), but her skirt is described as black with a yellow lining, inverse from canon. Brian got confused, so I showed him the cover of Puella Magi Oriko Magica, volume 1, which he still has, followed by some much more vibrant images through Google.
(I want my interest in Cibi back. Really, I want my inclination towards teen-aged girls in general back, but I recall gravitating towards the swimsuit pic after finally getting a pic of Kagari, who had been one of my favorites to look forward to seeing up until then. Right now, though, instead of forcing myself towards them any more, I should move on for now and look into commissioning for the adulthood-set Makendou fic already. Will need to figure out definitively, how to run ISOs on Mednafen, once I complete Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.)
