Found out yesterday about this Earthbound cookbook called Mother's Cookbook that will be coming out in a few weeks. The article in question is titled "Earthbound Finally Gets the Bizarre Cookbook It Deserves," which implied that it was already released, but I wasn't able to find it anywhere online, be it Google, eBay, or Amazon.

Dropped the author, Bryan Connor (a.k.a. Level 1 Chef) a few lines each on Kickstarter, Twitter, and Facebook, also linking him to Game Gourmet. He got back to me on Twitter, and as it turns out, it's going to be released in a few weeks, starting through Fangamer. (Can't tell so far if he checked the trope out, though.)
(I really do hope to make some progress with Starbound these next few months, but if I decide I'm not making enough to warrant any new games, that book might just make for a nice substitute present for my birthday.)

Someone named Braulio Rosario came to our house, and spoke to Mom. In the bathroom at the moment, I found out a few minutes after he arrived, and he claimed that he and I were best friends back in first grade, sharing both the same class and bus. I don't recall ever talking to such a person, especially since I chose someone else to follow around on the playground, but I did name each of our fellow classmates and our teacher from that year, and he managed to specify their last names, only one of whose I remembered to begin with.
He told us this story about some police officer who one time since pulled him over and, quite by coincidence, happened to be the same person who backed his own car into his wife's jeep, whom he proceeded to bring to see. He also offered me help with finding a job when Mom mentioned how we more or less gave up on that when DDI failed us for a full few years, after he mentioned how he landed his own current job.
(To be clear, I would not pass up such an opportunity as this to find work, and succeeding would particularly help towards most of my fanfic projects, which mostly involve commissioning others for stuff through Upwork or Freelancer. However, I will reserve the right to quit if either I happen not to like it or I would like more time to myself at some point to work on stuff personally.)

Santa came on the firetruck last night, but Mom said that I am too old to be going out there for candy. Marie herself declined when I asked her anyway, and Mom told me that the reason the fire department even sends him out is to see which houses have kids in case any of those catch on fire.
Not a big deal, I guess, especially when all he ever gives out are Hershey kisses and miniature chocolate bars.

Mom and Marie went out to pick Brian up at the ferry station last night, but came back home without him, stating when I asked that someone named Emily picked him up instead. (Not sure if he came home later at night and maybe I didn't hear him come in, even though I did hear Marie come inside the night before.)
