Mar. 14th, 2020 07:13 amTwo days ago, Mom saw something I wrote about certain intentions of mine, and later broke into a rant about how serious things could get for us all if I get sued and how much she and everyone else does to support my lifestyle while I waste half my time plotting revenge on someone like this. This wasn't nearly the first time we had that talk, but she actually did strike a few nerves this time; for example, I have no right to assume that I could leave her and Dad out of this and pay a lawyer out of my own pockets, when I don't even put time and effort into all other manner of things to be autonomous, things she does so that I can continue with my personal projects like I should be spending more time on than I do. We did manage to settle things afterwards, but that whole thing still left me feeling numb emotionally for until Dad eventually suggested I run a lap up and down Masem Court. While I did feel somewhat better, I still wasn't in the mood to do any spriting or play the game, and also had to put WaniKani on hold. (Good about that second thing, which had been starting to take over my time, which is exactly why I was going to start that two more weeks from now.)
Brought things up with Marie, who came home that evening, just yesterday morning, and she suggested we watch this movie called Inside Out.
Spent most of the day reading On Writing on and off until it was time to pick Brian up at Port Jefferson.
-----
Lately, I've been watching various Disney shorts from my childhood on YouTube. Just last night when everyone was watching TV, I decided to pull up Boat Builders, since that also happens to be a favorite of Dad's.
While we were watching, Mom, Brian, and Marie debated whether Goofy is a dog or a cow, and Mom also mentioned forgetting what Pluto the actual dog looks like, so I pulled up Pluto's Judgment Day afterwards.
