Ironically, though, the reason I prioritized that series might actually be a moot point. During a walk Mom and I had in the afternoon, I brought up that issue with getting a Playstation 5 for Christmas, given how long this virus might still be going around by then and how long it would take to receive anything from Amazon or any of its affiliates, and she asked me if I'd rather upgrade my computer. I had actually considered that before, but most games I would then want from Steam already have alternate systems to get them for. However, she also suggested that a better computer would allow me to do even more stuff than just gaming.
Almost immediately, it dawned on me that I'd actually have access to more games overall, including several that I'd otherwise need older systems such as the Playstation 3 and Vita for, and especially since I might be able to use a PS2 emulator for any games David doesn't have, instead of having to buy those.
So far, all I'd really trade off for a 64-bit computer are the upcoming Hajimari no Kiseki and some bonuses that that's supposed to receive from Ao no Kiseki Kai. However, not only are those a long way off for me and bound to hit other systems at some point, but given what happened before with the Cold Steel series, I have reason not to trust Hajimari to run its course on the Playstation 4.
Will need to bring this up with Brian at some point.
