dmxratedAs per the first tutorial in Mother's Cookbook, I finally got around yesterday to practicing to sterilize jars, only for Mom to tell me when she noticed the jars and lids drying in the sink that that's already what happens when we run stuff through the dishwasher. I did show her the actual instructions, though.

Tested one of those Lucky Star disks on my own TV set, and the same thing happened as before. Managed to boot up one of my Haganai disks, but then I noticed that its case has the DVD logo on it, while Lucky Star's doesn't.
Showed Mom, after having already mentioned what happened the previous night, and she told me that we still have that actual Blu-ray player that I got her and Dad for Christmas and had obviously since forgotten about (or at least that it can run Blu-ray as well as DVDs).
Brought that upstairs after testing it out, and that's probably what we should bring with us when we go visit Marie once things are normal again.
