dmxratedAborting my current playthrough of Trails in the Sky, after finding out that I had somehow missed something from the very beginning that I would've gotten if I had read my walkthrough of choice a little more closely.
Normally, I'd feel refreshed enough since midday yesterday to start over, but not only would I like to remember the details of my next playthrough somewhat more clearly than what's actually been two throughout the prologue, but this game is not even all that urgent anymore. I've already decided at this point that I would rather Mom invest in a new PC or console whenever I'm actually out of games on hand, computer technology is even better than it is currently, and either the PS5 is cheaper or another system is out. (Would also like to see how things pan out with the upcoming Hajimari no Kiseki, which I gather will be able to read save data from Zero/Ao no Kiseki Kai and Trails of Cold Steel III and IV for bonus content. That already sounds like a pretty big deal, but I would much rather upgrade my PC if that game gets ported to Windows and can read Trails in the Sky in lieu of any PC port of Zero/Ao no Kiseki Kai for the same content.)
I decided to have a break and play this in order to refresh myself to do some spritework for Day of the Beehive, but having barely gotten anywhere while having at the same time played it too long to want to start over, I think I'm instead going to spend some more time with Mother's Cookbook before I start playing Persona 2: Innocent Sin.

Yesterday afternoon, I came up to visit Brian while Emily was out shopping. We watched the remainder of an episode of this show called Catherine the Great, before I commented how long she was taking. Brian said that she also had to visit Maggie, and also that while she didn't want to admit it, she wasn't all that fond of Lucky Star.
I brought both series and player back inside the house, but then Mom sent me up to deliver something to Brian, and Emily came back just as I was about to head back down. I asked her if she actually did find LS boring, but she specified that Brian must have misinterpreted whatever she actually said, although we should start planning better and she needed me to specify who's who in the show.
