These past few days, I got an email from TFCU that a number of its branches are now open, and Mom and I noticed that Savers is now open while making a sidestop to Pope Wine & Liquors on the way home from Beaver Dam Road.
Initially, we planned on hitting the bank in Shirley to tie in with our next walk at the beach, but yesterday, Mom had some shopping to do at both Costco and Stop & Shop, and we decided instead upon our usual location at Farmingville, even though that one wasn't listed in the email. Just a few months ago, we had a look there, and the drive-thru line was really long. Not nearly so much this time, but it still took half an hour upon arrival to reach the teller, and that made us glad we cancelled our previous attempt.
Needless to say, I managed to make a big-ass deposit after these few months of not eating out or playing the lottery.
We also hit the Savers stores near both aforementioned grocery stores. No player's guides, but I did find the reference column in the store near Stop & Shop.
While arriving there, we also noticed that Friendly's has also re-opened. And speaking of Friendly's, Mom also found a box containing a watermelon-shaped sherbet roll, still cold, which was produced by that company, right near our car after we left the store. Brought that and some other stuff up into the apartment, and told Brian about Friendly's having re-opened.
I actually checked their website out later, but unsurprisingly, only saw options for takeout and delivery, not for dining in. We still agreed for tonight to get ice cream there, though.
