dmxratedMom had to do something on my bank account yesterday, and noticed I had paid a total of around $100 on Kickstarter.
Originally, I paid just $38 for a digital copy of that game, but then decided when the additional character count became ten, to switch to a physical copy instead for $57. That way, if it remains there all the way to release, I can then sell it later, still sealed and with all DLC (some of which is backer-exclusive), and if either the count shifts away or I decide to play it anyway at some point, I'd still receive the game for what I already contributed instead of having to buy it myself where my money wouldn't go towards anything. I had clicked "Manage my pledge", and naturally, I thought I was simply changing it, as opposed to adding more to it.
Next time I involve myself in something like that, I should probably cancel a pledge altogether before making a new one.
