dmxratedI got a lot of stuff for Christmas yesterday. Some of it included Pokemon Emerald, a MAD magazine, two anime DVDs (Divergence Eve and Otaku No Video), and two issues of the Sonic the Hedgehog comics. Brian also got me this game called Dark Cloud, and I told everyone that I used to play it at Matthew's. My gifts to everyone are as follows:
Mom: Lemon-flavored hand cream.
Dad: Four Opus comic books.
Brian: Super Smash Bros. Melee. He told us that he plays it with his college buddies at Cornell.
Marie: A pair of headphones, so that she doesn't have to use mine all the time.
Grandma Ella: Some tree ornament of a rubber duck and someone riding on it.
Brian also got Mom a DVD of The Muppet Show for Christmas, and we all watched an episode together before eating breakfast.
Jake told me that for the day, we wouldn't talk about anything sexual. I think that's very considerate of him to make that decision, even if he is under pressure from people visiting.
After we ate breakfast, Brian asked me to take the GameCube and all the required cables out of our room and into the living room, so that he could play SSBM. He played it for several hours, but had the volume all the way down most of the time since Dad and Grandma had already gone back to bed. He asked me if I wanted to battle him, but I declined and opted instead to continue working on the details for Jamie's fic.
Speaking of which, I already refined the Pokemon population percentages for each area, and am now on Phase 3: deciding which Pokemon everyone captures in each area. In fact, I accidentally stayed up until 10:45 P.M. deciding which Pokemon each of the girls will begin with, while Brian had Stephanie over and watched some episodes of Family Guy together.
But, that was when we came home from the movie theater. After dinner, Dad took me, Mom, and Grandma out to see Casino Royale. Marie wasn't interested in the movie, and Brian had already seen it before.
Grandma had to leave this morning, but I didn't get to say good bye to her before Dad took me to a school meeting. Oh well. Anyway, today was the introductory meeting for Bowling, and is the only day for the Winter Semester which will take place on campus. From now on, we will be meeting at the Brunswick Bowling Alley in Centerreach, to which I will be riding a bus instead of driving.
