Spent this past weekend w/ Mom at Aunt Allison's to celebrate Grandpa Bob's birthday. Allison herself was at work, but Uncle Robby and Cousin Adam had come to visit. Uncle Robby brought some pastrami and some macaroni and potato salads for lunch, Mom had brought a carrot cake and a coconut custard pie for afterwards.

While everyone was talking, Mom mentioned that a number of Jewish restaurants had closed down during the pandemic. I asked if Zan's was one of them, which she denied, and asked if we could have my birthday dinner there when Grandma Ella comes to visit.
