dmxratedMom and Brian have both said yesterday morning not to trust the word of just one person, and Brian has also said not to try to perfect my Japanese skills before applying.
This cuts out the need for any further cleanup or revival cycles. Going to resume Wanikani once I finish this entry, and will probably look again at Japanese in Mangaland, followed by Kanji in Context, at some point after Brian leaves, whenever I hit the next dead end with Unity. (Will probably wait until I complete Suikoden II before I reset my account.)

Yesterday was too hot to focus on anything, so I had decided to bring my air conditioner up then.
Seeing how that thing doesn't cool my room down as much as it used to, I brought that up with Mom, and she asked me if I wanted a new one. I decided I wouldn't mind one, and she said that while they normally go for $200, they might actually go on sale for Memorial Day weekend next week.
(In case I decide to chip in, I think we can put the bank off for until afterwards.)

Brian helped me iron out a bug in Unity that prevented me from moving the one sprite around I had loaded. Turns out I had added too many components, and while the motion is jittery again, we can try to iron that out later.
