Sep. 17th, 2021 06:40 amSo it turns out that Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Wraith Arc, six years after first coming out in Japan, is finally getting released here starting on November 21. I actually compared covers between Amazon and Puella Magi Wiki, and yes, some stuff depicted on the former site is in English.
I suppose this might have something to do with the franchise's North American branch having lost Magia Record, but I'm still not holding my breath for any new spinoff series. If anything, I would assume this only paves the way for other pre-existing series such as Sute Ma! I Found a Magical Girl, The Veranda of Madoka, Welcome to Café Grief Seed!, and Mami Tomoe's Everyday Life, that focus mostly on the original protagonists. And if any new series do crop up that focus on new characters, that would be all the more reason to leave PMW currently blocked while I pinch pennies for ROMhacks (and even after that, there's still the Makendou story I'm still more interested in), so that I can check everything out with fresh eyes and have more stuff to check out by then.

Mom and I found out from The Long Island Advance yesterday that Sal's barber shop in Patchogue is going to close down. We should probably make that haircut a priority today, now that it's open again from two days ago, and I should ask while I'm there where he might be setting up shop next.
