Jul. 3rd, 2022 06:19 amMom decided yesterday afternoon to do some shopping at Costco's Riverhead store, and asked me if I'd like to come with her before making a stop back home from some other errands. I asked to be dropped off at Tanger Outlets to order something at Häagen-Dazs.
Got myself a black-and-white-cookie sundae with M&M's and Oreo bits. That place is probably better to order shakes instead at, because the spoon they gave me was too elastic to dig into the ice cream very efficiently.
I also noticed this store called Sip n Snack, which included various containers that you can scoop stuff out of and buy by the pound.

The other day, I brought the TV down from the loft by myself, but we still have yet to bring the couch down. Mom has offered to help me with the latter, but for whatever reason, would like both things back up there for when we have people over, when Marie and Drew will be staying up here while I return to my old room (nevermind that they're the only ones staying upstairs where there's a bed for both of them).
She did mention wanting to get rid of the table the TV is currently sitting on, in favor of the coffee table still in the loft. I can understand that, and would be all for bringing the TV back up for now; I'm not in any actual hurry to use it when we're gonna have people over.
Other than that, I don't see what the point is of having to bring all three things back up there after we take the trouble to set them up in the first place. Like I said, I am not in any actual hurry to watch anything, so why create extra steps around them? We can just as easily set things up just once once everyone leaves; it's not that long a wait for me before I can do stuff comfortably in what is now my regular living space.
Addendum: I have just shown this entry to Mom, and we reached an understanding from there.
