dmxratedMuhammad has proposed yesterday, speaking for an entire team of developers he belongs to, remaking Disgaea from scratch with the source code that he claims to have obtained. We sorted out several different surrounding issues, but I am not going to fully agree to anything until I show Brian our exchanges thus far.
In turn, even if there is a practical way to go on about this, I'm sure Brian is not going to be all too thrilled about me putting so much money towards remakes of that and other random pre-existing games, given his support to date for Starbound. For exactly that reason, I went on to offer Muhammad a role in that game's creation, he replied rather enthusiastically, and I linked him to the Lucky Star anime on YouTube just for initiation. I think Brian would be all for striking some kind of balance between Starbound and my mod series.
This morning, I have asked Muhammad how hardcoded Disgaea's Android version is compared to the PC version. He stated probably just as much, but offered to buy that version just to verify, but then asked me to release another standing milestone in order to compensate him. I asked him to hold off until I speak to Brian.
(I do wish he had contacted me about such an expensive undertaking before buying the source code. While we did agree to spread any payments I make out in installments for each milestone, I would rather put the kind of money he wants towards a remake of Epic Battle Fantasy 4, with a series of more complex and interdependent changes to one another. Most of the changes I'd want to Disgaea are simple, individual ones that I could just as easily play the game without. Just as I am not going to agree to anything just yet, though, I am not going to decline right now either, because I would not want to undermine an investment he made specifically for me, his first client on Upwork.)

New flock of turkey chicks two days ago. Mom took a couple of pictures of them in our frontyard, but couldn't get all roughly twelve of them.

Went to the beach with Mom to pick up seaweed for her garden.
Should remember to wear my sandals down there from now on, instead of my doc martins.
