Mom and I went first thing yesterday morning to Bellport Bay, where she had found out about an even greater concentration of beached seagrass than on the beach. Filled seven garbage bags, and left one for the marina attendant as thanks for letting us park for free for just the few minutes we were there.

-----

Forgot to mention yesterday, that we had taken the futon apart the day prior to bring upstairs. My parents have yet to reassemble it, but this was in anticipation to a new couch that they ordered for the porch.

Drew was still asleep, but Marie had already come down from the apartment when it got delivered, and we were all quick to try it out. Drew came down not long after, and we all talked about stuff from there.

This playthrough's transition between chapters 2 and 3 was pretty unique.

For starters, before I tackled the last stage in 2, one of my Prinnies was set to propose Raise Military Funds at the Dark Assembly, but I didn't have a full item bag. With only 21 non-upgraded Common items there, I went on to replace Laharl and Etna's starting weapons with a level 10 RQ38 Custom (type of gun) and Witch's Staff respectively, and gave one of my Prinnies, Nel, a Muscle Brawn and Muscle Hustle, both Rare from the hospital, in order to supplement my items.

Emptied out my item bag at the senate, and then bought an Amulet and a Protector from the battle depot. Those are all I had to fill Flonne's empty equipment spaces with when she joined.

And, Laharl was already set to unlock the gate to Dinero Palace afterwards.

Mom made a Boston cream pie for Marie's birthday, but the icing was a bit crumbly, such that a crack formed in the opposite direction Marie went on to cut it. We still enjoyed it nonetheless, and I can't wait to have some for my snack today.

-----

Marie and Drew asked to continue watching Kanon for after dinner, and we went on to watch episode 4.

Early on, I asked them if Ayu's hair looks brown or orange to them, and they sort of answered a mix of both. We had a short chat from there, where I specified Yuichi's chocolatey shade of brown to be my favorite for girls (no preference for guys, although I also like lighter brown), chalking that up later to Mai Tsurugino, Saga Bergman, and Pokesho's depictions of Green/Blue, the first female protagonist of Pokemon Adventures as she appeared originally and would have in the original gen I Pokemon games (the girl Jake named Ellen for the first fanfic we'd ever discuss).

-----

As of this morning, I have set Laharl up to recruit a Genius General Prinny once he accumulates 15,000 mana. Good thing he's already had a Manager (mana-boosting Specialist) in his aforementioned gun, but other than that, I am still going to play the game normally (no attempts to boost enemy levels) while giving him as many kills as possible.

I also accessed the Item World through a Villager's Axe, and its very first floor was the most compact I am ever likely to see. Only three squares, with the base panel, a Boggart on the exit, and a null Geo Symbol. An easy kill for Laharl.
