dmxratedMom made some waffles and bacon for all of us this morning. We ate later in the morning than usual, and later on, Mom was going to make lunch only for me and Dad because she figured the others weren't that hungry. Marie and Drew wound up taking her up, but Marie wound up too full to cut a peach and raspberry pie that they went to some bakery for and Dad was looking forward to. We debated whether or not to cut slices just for those of us who wanted one or save the whole thing for after dinner, and decided upon the latter.

Noticed Marie, Drew, and Aunt Marie playing croquet in the frontyard in the afternoon, and decided to join them. Aunt Marie won the game first, followed by Drew and then little Marie.
We came inside, and I brought up the option whether to watch Kanon in the apartment or on such a tiny monitor as on my old computer where at least I have the room itself cooled off. They would've been okay with the latter, but we decided upon the former anyway, and Aunt Marie decided to join us. I suggested we start over, but Marie and Drew suggest I give Aunt Marie a recap of what's going on so far. Unfortunately, there are just too many things just to summarize for her, and Drew did suggest we could use a refresher anyway, given how long it's been since we started watching.
For dinner, Mom grilled some lemon chicken and boiled some corn on the cob. After all that was when we each cut a slice of that pie for ourselves, and there's still one left over that they have saved for me.
